Register for these programs in person at FiftyNorth, by phoning 507.664.3700, or by clicking on the title of the class. Please check in for all classes no matter your membership level. We use attendance data for grant applications, insurance reimbursement, space planning, and determining whether or not to cancel a class.

Fitness

INTRODUCTION 

The FiftyNorth Wellness Center and the Functional Fitness Room provide everything you need for a complete workout whether you are a beginner or a seasoned athlete. There are machines that enhance cardiovascular exercise, machines that build core strength and aid bone density, free weights and other tools that enhance balance, agility, and flexibility. The Fitness studio is home to our fitness classes and lively ping-pong tournaments. Join a group of active adults in a professionally led, engaging and fun fitness class or just come swing a paddle around with some buddies. 

Our pool, accessible via a set of steps and a lift, is maintained at a temperature of 89˚ F, comfortable for aquacize classes, lap swimming, water volleyball, and walking for exercise. It is 65.6 feet long (20 meters) and ranges in depth from 3’ to 5’3”. Radiant floor heating makes the deck floor less slippery as well as pleasant for bare feet. We offer many hours of open swimming, including two hours on Saturdays for family swimming. 

Depending on the nature of your membership, fees may apply; costs are indicated in the course descriptions. Medical memberships are available for those under age 50.

AQUA CLASSES
Cost: $10/class nonmember, $8 member, $0 fitness plus.

Aqua Sunrisers
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays 7:15-8am
Instructor: Jeanne Peloquin

This class provides an aerobic and strength conditioning workout using water resistance and buoyancy. It includes a warm up, a conditioning phase, a cool down, and stretches.
