Used-A-Bit Shoppe Donations

We accept clean, gently used household items from 10am to 2pm Tuesday-Friday at the BACK entrance on the river side of the mall. Furniture donations must be pre-approved. Call 507-645-1399 to schedule drop off. (No pick up available).  All proceeds benefit FiftyNorth.
 

We ACCEPT clean & gently used household items:

• Furnishings for kitchen, office, and bathrooms (including linens and bedding)

• Small appliances, lamps and electronics (in good working condition)

• Area rugs (clean and in good condition)

• Tools

• Puzzles for adults and toys and puzzles for ages 5+ (not infant things)

• Collectibles, art objects, home décor

• Jewelry, film cameras, record albums

• Home medical equipment in like-new condition

• Blinds/shades (if new and still in box)

• Suitcases:  vintage and newer suitcases with wheels
   

We DO NOT ACCEPT these items:

• Dirty or broken items

• Light bulbs

• Books and magazines (other than craft, sewing and knitting)

• Clothes (please donate to Clothes Closet, run by the Community Action Center)

• Baby/child equipment

  • High chairs, strollers, booster seats, Pack & Play, etc.

  • Large stuffed animals, or toys too large to sit on a shelf

• Exercise equipment too large or heavy to fit on shelf (sorry, no bowling balls)

• Large electronics:  printers, computers, monitors, and copiers, TVs, microwaves or typewriters

• Out-of-season or LARGE sporting equipment 

  • golf clubs accepted from April to September only

  • skis accepted from October to mid-March only

• Entertainment centers; VHS tapes and players

• Beds, bed frames and mattresses

• Pianos and organs

• Office desks (unless antique)

• Hard wired fixtures (ceiling lights and fans)

• Used blinds, drapes, traverse rods, screens

• Chemicals, used sprayers or gas cans

• Christmas trees and décor
