We believe that you should do whatever you can to stay healthy and active. You also need to listen to your body. It has different capacities and needs than it did when you were a teen. Our instructors respect that.
Our programs and facilities do that too. In addition to classes on wellness issues related to aging, we offer 60+ in-person and online fitness classes that build cardiac health, strength, flexibility, and balance. Our accessible warm water pool, maintained at a comfortable 89º, promotes low-impact exercise and rehabilitation (medical memberships are available if you’re under 50). The sauna and hot tub provide added relief for aching joints and muscles. Fitness studios offer everything from free weights, treadmills, and recumbent bikes to classes as varied as boxing, chair yoga, tai chi, and zumba gold.
Need help getting started? Book a session with one of our personal trainers, who will put together a program you can pursue with them or on your own.
Or join a fitness group and explore regional bike paths, participate in an annual table tennis tournament or local softball competitions, play pickleball with new friends on area courts, or take in pro sports in the Twin Cities.
