In this class, participants will create a three-dimensional bookmark using watercolor and ink. The bookmark will stick out of the top of a book and can be designed to look like a butterfly perched on top of your book, a flower blooming from the pages, or a small bug crawling along the pages. Participants are welcome to follow examples or create their own simple design. This class is beginner-friendly and focuses on learning basic watercolor techniques and adding ink details. The goal is to make something fun, creative, and usable. No prior art experience is needed.

It will be helpful to have taken the first class but newcomers are also welcome.

Here is your chance to allow your creativity to soar. In this class you will get to create your own fused glass pendants. Each person will get to create 5. Not only will you get to create, you also will get a short history lesson on 5000 years of glass. Everything you need to create your pendants is provided. All that is required is an open mind to endless possibilities.
A pendant would make a nice Mother’s Day gift. The pendants will be fired and delivered back to FiftyNorth by May 7th.
This would also be a fun mother/daughter/son or grandchild experience. Each participant would make their own set of 5 pendants and would register separately.
